Yes it is not a mistake. According to Burnatonce the DVD was burned at 31x. For some reason the burnatonce does not recognizes the DVD burning speed of Plextor 708A. In the settings it shows the CD burning speed which is 4x - 40x. The same speed displays in the Adobe Encore DVD and I cannot write lower than 4x in encore. Did that happen to you? If yes what do you think the problem might be?

burning a CD @ 31X-36X(forgive if my numbers are off) is about the same as buring a 4X DVD. How long did it take to complete the disk and how large of a file was placed on the DVD?

So the disc burned in less than a minute?

Obviously BAO did not burn the DVD in 1 min. The project was 4.1 Gig. Most likely it was 4x, but BAO displayed 31x. It took about 16 min to burn the DVD. What concerns me most is that BAO did not display the DVD burning speed. Instead it was displaying the CD burning speed.

DUDE...the 16X is the MAXIMUM speed a dvd can be burned. this is a big BS....
