New Job !!!!

Got a new job Thursday.

The agency asked me what I would want to leave my current job - I said a ridiculous amount which I thought they would laugh at and the company they were representing came in at £9k more !!!!!!!!!!!!, obviously I accepted and..........

the missus duly handed her notice in on Friday ( ). There could be dustbins ahead

Outstanding..... what type of occupation will it entail (if not part of the government secret service that is)

I work in investment banking. I used to be involved in the management of offshore investments but now I specialise in improving existing processes.

Basically a place employs me to rip out the way a department currently works, redesign it and put it back together.

Loads of fun, I really enjoy it. However this place I am going to sounds totally screwed. It should be a department of 7 but they have been working with 2 for the past nine months and they are just doing the bare minimum to get by. I am employed to get them back on course.

I see some 18hr days coming up.

Very nice... i'm sure people are a tad apprehensive when you come in ... many must think they might be axed.

At the old place I got rid of four people in three days beacuse of changes I made. Really made me popular as you can imagine.
