Sorry to ask what aught to be a basic matter.
I'm wanting to make a few compilation discs of scenes from my faverate films. Eg A disc full of James Bone scenes, Carry On films, Horror, sci-fi etc.
I guess it's just a matter of locating the scenes from source & then recording on my recorder, E55. But would I have to do anything prior to recording the compilation disc or before finalising to ensure the disc will auto play all the scenes without stopping after each scene.

I would do this with DVD-RAM, Start recording, and then copy the video to PC. Finally author the DVD with TMPGenc DVD author.
The problem with your approach is that it will be too complicated to change or remove scenes once recorded.
