  1. Greetings,

I'm currently using premium photo paper for inkjet printers and print with an EPSON R200. I was getting slightly off on margins with DVD cover printing and burning through tons of ink .. which I don't mind... as long as the cover comes out the right dimensions.

Does anyone here use a template or any specific dimensions in order to get the BEST results to use as a DVD Cover insert? Any guides would be great... it is appreciated!

  2. The dimensions for DVD covers are as follows

    All Covers: Height = 2175
Front and Back Cover Widths: 1535
    One Disc:
    Total Width: 3240
    Spine Width: 170 pixels

To get best results use legal size 8 1/2 x 14 paper, and print in landscape mode. Hope this helps.

These dimensions are for an image that is 300 DPI. Make sure that your image is just that!

  4. Excellent information! One last question I had... I'm having trouble cutting exactly straight lines with this scissors I got... anyone have any recommendation for a cutting tool to get rid of the added edging? Thanks again folks..

  5. Go to an office supply store and get an 11 to 14 inch paper cutter. This is what I use with superb results.
