My weekend

As some of your may know, I have spent the past 2 weekends in Tennessee. Nashville last weekend and Knoxville this past weekend.

For those of you who have never been to Tennessee you have to go at least once and see the Great Smokey Mountains. Gatlinburg and surrounding areas.

I just thought I would post some pictures taken with my digital camera. Some of our best pictures were taken with our other cameras. My daughter was on digital camera patrol so she took these.





As you can see beautiful country. Lots of fishing, lots of hunting. Speaking to a few of the good ol' boys though, they said that a good deer size down there is 86 lbs field dressed that's pathetic. Apparently we have some big ol' mule deer up here in Ohio. 150 lb field dressed is expected up here. They said their deer are about the size of big dogs

I had to throw in the pic of U. Tennessee's football stadium. If there is a major university near any place we go, we always stop by and check it out. The Horseshoe in Columbus is awesome, the Big House in Ann Arbor is Awesome and Newland Stadium is pretty cool as well. Nice to see how the SEC lives.



Good time was had by all, but happy to be back in Ohio.

Forgot about your trip. Explains why we haven't heard much from you. I have a sister who lives in TN who would love for me to come visit. Too bad I don't like her, I'd love to fish the lakes in your pics.

We also went to Gatlinburg and stayed up the mountains two years ago... we thought, up in the mountains, that it woudl be nice and cool, at least in the evenings .... but it was still hot as F__k there....

Now that is funny. My uncle's step son, got married once...lasted 6 days. They got the marriage dissolved and he moved in with his "roommate" named Fred...that was 17 years ago...and they are still "roommates".
