  1. Hey, ive burned some movies using nero 6 ultra and they work but recently when i try to burn movies i always get an error and 97%. The movie still works but the end is cut off. I havent changed any method of burning, i use DVD shrink. The error is "faild buring at 4X".

Any suggestions on wut it might be? Thnx

  2. what media are you using? errors are more typical at the outer edge of the disk..might try shrinking it to be a bit smaller than you are now to avoid the outside edge...also, slow your burns down to 2x or 1x ... maybe try a slower burn on your current media first & if you are getting coasters then shrink more or try different media...hope this helps...

  3. im using Maxell DVD - R. I dont think its the edge of the disk because i had a movie that was 3.7G and i still got that error, i used these disks before and didnt get any problems till just recently. My friend had this problem to with his nero, i tried uninst and reinstall but same thing. I even used diff Burning software and worked fiine but again that error came up after like 5 burns.

This could be a dirty burner laser or bad/glitched firmware.
    Clean drive, reflash.

Could be media, but if it's trye MXLRG01, MXLRG02, I doubt it's the media.

The DVD Shrink burning engine is also not perfect.

Lots of options, this is just a few ideas.
