I just did all the editing and encoding using tmpge and the file size was a little too big. I am trying to put multiple cartoon episodes on one dvd and was aiming for 6 which is about 2hrs and 10 of actual video. So with the mpeg2 file already made I dont want to redue the enitre process again at a lower bitrate(11hrs of encoding). Is there a way to shrink the file a little? If so, will this have a big effect on thw video quality? Or should I just encode again using a lower bitrate? thanks..I hope this makes sense.

Go ahead and author your title set like normal and use DVD Shrink to make it fit. If it isn't satisfactory quality, your only other option at that point is to re-encode the thing with the correct bitrate.
There's a bitrate calculator around here somewhere on this site, FWIW."There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge, and I knew we'd get into that rotten stuff pretty soon." -- Raoul Duke
