free programs, easily available:
Virtualdub
Wax
Zwei-Stein
hard to find, but out there:
MovieXone Free
ABC VideoRoll
cheap:
Ulead Videostudio 5 ($10 at my local computer superstore)
Magix Audio/Video ($8 at my local computer superstore)
the real answer is - whichever app is most comfortable for you to work with. Virtualdub is great, but if you don't get it, you won't get anything done. Zwei-Stein may be awesome, but it's interface leaves me cold and I don't want to work with it...
(btw, I use Vegas, myself...)- housepig
----------------
Housepig Records
out now:
Various Artists "Six Doors"
Unicorn "Playing With Light" -
Have you tried Womble? I just finished making a Jordan highlight reel set to music, program is really user friendly. You dont even have to convert to avi etc..I used the VOB's ripped right from my dvd.
MPEG VIDEO WIZARD
