OK
What is the best was to set up DivX XviD etc conversions for the best & most consistent Sound Settings so that the resulting sound LEVELS are good?
Will normalizing work?
Or do you have to normalize to a certian (consistent) setting?
I'm getting annoyed with low volume sources.... I have to whack the TV volume right up, but this results in speech being drowned out by background music etc etc. Know what I mean??
Cheers,
Andy

You can always give normalizing a try. I am told it maximizes the volume without clipping.
