I only have 1 title made up of several VOB files, and I used TDA to create 4 chapters. When the DVD plays, the 4 chapters show up in Track #1's menu and not the main menu. And it's okay, but ...

What I really want is to have the 4 chapters be "elevated" to be a title so that they show up on the main menu.

Can this be done in TDA?
If so, how do I go about it?

    Thanks.

There are two ways to achieve this.

    Method 1:
Split your movie into 4 physical parts and inset each part onto a seperate 'track'.

    Method 2 (the easiest).
Change the 'Firstplay action:' to not play the Main Menu but instead to play the track menu only, when the DVD loads.

    I have the trial version.

The only choices I see for 'Firstplay action' are
(a)Display Main menu, (b)Play all tracks, (c)Play only first track

I also chose Menu Display Settings -> Display menu settings -> Only track menu.

    Will this work?

    Hi Broadway,

I don't have the product in front of me at the moment because I am at the office so I was making the suggestion from memory (a bit shakey), yes it's the 'Menu Display Settings' that I mean't.

I'll double-check when I get home - but that should work for you.
