  1. What I'm trying to do is use MP3br to create an ISO file of MP3 songs with folders etc.

I'm following all the steps using MP3br, but for some reason my DVD player isn't reading it.

I create the ISO file in MP3br, and then use BurnAtOnce to burn the ISO image to a CD-R. Seems pretty straight forward. BUT, when I put the burnt CD-R in my DVD player, all that happens is that my DVD player indicates "VCD1.1" on the TV, and nothing else happens...it just stays at the intro screen, and no MP3's or anything comes up.

Has anyone ever used MP3br to burn MP3 discs? The reason I use it is because it's the ONLY software available that lets you burn MP3 files in the order that you specify...without having to worry about them being re-arranged in alphabetical order or whatever...

I must be doing something wrong...

    Anyone?

    THANKS!

The first thing that springs to mind is whether your DVD player can play MP3s. It sounds like MP3BR actually makes it with a VCD header, which is interesting.
    If in doubt, Google it.

  3. Oh yeah, it can definately play MP3 discs...I have a few old ones that I created using EZ CD Creator and they all play fine...

What I REALLY want to do is be able to play MP3s on DVD+/-R.

But apparently that's just a hit or miss type of situation where I should just burn a DVD of MP3 files and see whether my DVD Players can read it or not...

And yeah, I have no idea why my DVD player said "VCD1.1"...maybe it has something do with the fact that I used BurnAtOnce??

I am not familiar with MP3BR so I can't comment on that.

However I do know an alternative method for this sort of situation - there is a guide here. You are basically creating a DVD-Video that has really low quality video (a black screen @ 100kbps for example).
    If in doubt, Google it.

Playing a MP3 CDR is different to playing a MP3 DVDR

  6. You'll have much better luck making MP3 CD's using "Track-At-Once" instead of "Disc-At-Once".
