  1. I get this error:

"cannot allocate memory because no size has been set"

I can play XVID/DIVX avi files fine, but that error comes up whenever I try to play mpeg's/svcd's. Can someone please help me out?

Amen to that. I just use winamp, and it's always worked fine.

  5. Media Player Classic is available on the tool pages and will play both real and quicktime formats and it's free. It's also very useful for debugging Avisynth scripts. It will run the script if it is okay and give error messages if it is not. Nyah Levi

I use Zoom player (For MPGs, DVD, XVID, etc.), Real One is more spyware than program. I prefer Real Alternative (For RM files), QuickTime Alternative (For Qiucktime). The last two use MediaPlayer Classic. WMP is not a good player.
