    I have my movie ready to go, along with my subtitle file, but which program is best to add/merge together and allow for temporary use (will allow me to turn on/off when I want)?

    Two programs come to mind: VobSub and FFDShow.

    save as subrip(srt) files and it will work with many tooooooools.
