  1. I'm using the above tool as for mutiplexing video and audio streams. I want to know how can I set up this tool in order to give me one VTS file that is without splitting the VTS files. When this tool is used for multiplexing purposes I can not enter the settings so that files greater than 1G is being splitted into files acoording their respective size.
Your help is very much appreciated

  2. Lets see if I understand you correctly (using some punctuation might help next time!).

You are using IfoEdit to produce vts_xx.vob files. And you want these files to be greater than 1Gb.

If thts right then the answer is:-

Sorry, cant be done. To meet DVD-Video specs these files must be 1Gb or less in size.

  3. However, it can be done if required after the authoring (muxing the streams). Open the new VTS_01_0.IFO in IfoEdit, click VOB Extras, and perform a mock strip, i.e. select Strip Streams but keep all the streams when prompted later. On this screen, you can set VOB size to No Split.

Of course, the output would only work on a computer, not on a standalone player.

    1. Make the DVD with 1GB VOBs as usual.
    2. Open VTS_01_0.IFO in IfoEdit.
    3. Click VOB Extras. A dialog window will pop up.
    4. In the Options section, check only Strip Streams and two "Correct..." boxes.
    5. In VOB Expert section, change VOB Size from 1GB to No Split.
    6. Set Destination Directory to any empty folder.
    7. Check AutoCopy Menu Files. It will simply copy VIDEO_TS.* files to the destination folder.
    8. Click OK. On the next dialog window (Stream List) click Check All, then click Strip it.

It will re-create the DVD in the destination folder without splitting the movie into 1GB chunks.
