    Hi all
    Just a quick question, can i convert a region 1 dvd to region 2 so i can play it on my stand alone dvd player which is only region 2 ?

    I would be using dvd dycryptor and clone dvd and an nec 2500

    By the way the dvd is Childs play region 1

    Use Dvd shrink, you can set the region when shrinking.

    once a disc is ripped it becomes region free

    Depending on your player you may be able to use a DVD Hack to change its riegion. Rhe only benifit this has is that you will not have to compress anything so you will have the same quality.
