  1. Anyone had a problem backing up Open Range? I've NEVER had a problem using EasyVCD till now.

The audio/video is great except for the screen looks like it has a nervous twitch thru out the whole movie!

Really hate to say its a new protection scheme, however I've been able to
backup alot of my newer DVDs with no problems.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

  3. Well considering I've backed up over 100+ of my DVDs to VCD/xVCD using EasyVCD with never a problem I just figured it might be something different.

    None the less :

    Win XP Pro
    2.2Gig
    765MB Ram
    DVD ROM
    40x CD-RW

Using EasyVCD 1.15a that uses vStrip V0.8f_css with the options I have always used for 100+ backups, I have the problem mentioned in my first post.

Even using AnyDVD along with EasyVCD produces the same results.

System is defragged, APSI Installed, no AV running, blah blah blah.

I've also heard from some others 'willing to offer advice' that they have had similiar problems with many of the newer Touchstone movies.

No equipment/media failure or issues whatsoever, hasnt even been burnt to disc yet as the resulting mpg displays the symptoms mentioned above, that I've never run across with in over 100+ backups.

Same EXACT results also occurred on another 2.1Gig box using the same programs mentioned above.

    Hmmmmmm.
