Divx files in slow motion after codec upgrade

I decided to try the new version of the Divx codec from www.divx.com, I had the 5.02 version and the new one is 5.2. After I installed the new codec all the files I had previously encoded with the old version play in slow motion in windows media player. Has anyone experienced something similar with the new version?

Yes I did have similar problems if I recall correctly. In the codec config utility, try disabling the post processing options and see how it goes.

I tried your suggestion but there was no change, in fact that option was already disabled, so I enabled it to see what happen, but I didn’t notice any difference one way or the other.
