ok im trying to rip National Lampoons Senior Trip using DVD SHRINK

i got it compressed down to about 4.1 gigs but when the rip is done its over 6 gigs and the movie itself as a whole is only around 5.8

this is the first time this has ever happened. how can i fix this situation?

Are you sure DVDShrink is letting you compress so much? Maybe that little bar was red and you didn't notice.

yes im sure there was no red what so ever

i just ripped another movie doing the same i have done for every movie including senior trip and it was fine...

senior trip though gets bigger when i rip it, I tried it again. Once again same outcome as before..

im going to give it one more go and see what happens, really odd though...

  4. Are you sure you're dealing with a completely clean directory? Though DVDShrink says it will delete files there, it will only delete DVD files it created, not other random stuff.

yeah it was a new folder, everything i did was the same as i have done on the previous 500 or so movies i have ripped..

anyways i decided to try the newest dvd shrink version and it worked this time, had it compressed to the same size, created a new folder and it compressed it fine this time..
