Decoding Problems-- Any suggestions?

I have 3 divx movies that i got. Someitmes when i play them, the video freezes but audio keeps going. It happens during the middle and sometimes happens randomly. This is really annoying and i dont know how to fix this. According to other people , exact same videos play fine on their computers. Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this. I want to burn them on a dvd but the video also freeezes during the process in winavi. I appreciate your help.

Try DivX Antifreeze

Go to Start---> Programs---> Divx---> Divx Pro Codec---> Decoder Configuration utility. Go to the quality settings tab and disable Smooth Playback. That should do the trick.

there is a progtram arubnd there called divx fix or something it might work.
