What is with the brands and some of you people?

Didnt you get it? Thats exactly why thread was probably closed.

People have right to state their opinions, or even spread gossip or pure lies, but unfortunately there are many of useless-dumb-sh*t american lawyers just waiting to pickup any case against anyone - as last as they get paid their high fees.

In normal, free, as-it-supposed-to-be world, we all would be held accountable for our own words and actions, but as you have probably noticed we don't live in a 'normal' world anymore, and thousands of scums (oops, sorry - I meant 'lawyers') are just searching for any possibility to make 'few' bucks (minimum $200 per hour...)
Thus guys 'working' for Baldrick have to close such potentially law-making trouble threads regardless of the facts or are they 'true' or 'lies'.
Some things just cant be proven right or wrong.
I dont know which thread he was referring to, but just in general i.e. I may praise brand X, and you someone else may bash it - and we both may be 100% correct since our experiences with the same X brand might be totally oposite.
And who would have a right there to judge whose experience is more adequate and who is the liar and who is not? (yeah I know, lawyers can prove anything as last as theyre paid for it, but thats not the point since Im talking about the 'truth').

All of you asking about "which brand is better" please read thousands of previous posts on this subject first. You dont want to read so much? Fine, do at least search on the site for the brand youre inquiring about combined with the specific hardware you wanna use it on. Im sure there is enough information in this site's database on almost every possible combination.

DONT:
Please refrain from posting questions like "is brand X good or bad" here! PLEASE! It wont give you any real answers, because all you'll get probably will be flame war between 'bashers' vs 'praisers' of such brand (and a locked thread in the end most likely).

The mods here do a good job keeping us on track, but the media market is in a ever changing state of fluk. What is a great brand one month may just have a production problem and be rubbish the next, add in the compatabilty issues between burners and the various media brands and you have a complex issue to cover. So questions about which media to use are fair. What is wrong is someone just posting XXX is crap because they arnt working for me... Never mind the hungry lawers out there, there ae to many other things can be at fault but the poor old media gets the blame...

Maybe if media companies heard a few more horror stories they would get their act together...

From what it appears to be just a rumour explained in some statement - so whats the point to even mention it anymore? to make rumours about rumour?

I think I never believed or followed any of the statements, commercials, "indepedent" expertises etc - if I dont touch it / see it /hear it / sniff it / fu*k it/ myself, it doesnt count, or maybe doesnt even exist
