    Hey! Someone could help me?
    How do I encode videos that will play on Mac OS Quicktime AND on Windows (media player, divx player... whatever..).

    I've been trying with ffmpegX (DV sources), handbreak (DVDs)...

    I don't know where I'm doing wrong..

    Pick a universal format that is on both platforms.
    DIVX works (install codecs)
    QUICKTIME works (install codecs)
    MPEG1 (no codecs needed)
    etc

    Handbrake converts DVD to Divx. Both Mac and PCs can read these files if the codecs are installed.
