I would suggest waiting for the download to finish. There are many problems that you may face if you plough ahead now.
    If in doubt, Google it.

  3. what format is it in? if it is divx, you could you divfix. You can also try to convert and burn it. As the other poster mentioned, you are better off waiting till its completed.

  4. its an xvid but there isnt anyone online now and hasnt been for along time that has the full clip now.

i think that it might be my only option to continue with just 99.9% of the file but is it that hard to do. could someone explain how i do it.

    many thanks

what are you downloading from ?

Buddha says that, while he may show you the way, only you can truly save yourself, proving once and for all that he's a lazy, fat bastard.

  6. There's something quick and dirty you could try. I've done this a grand total of twice, it worked both times: Load file in VirtualDub- it'll complain about the file and offer to rewrite the header. Now for all I know Direct Stream Copy would work, but what I did was: Audio> Full Processing Mode> Compression> No Compression >Video >Full Processing Mode >Compression >XVID MPEG-4 Codec >Configure >Load Defaults >OK >File >Save as AVI. Wait until VirtualDub is finished. The file should now be usable. (Fingers crossed)

    Good Luck.
    Pull! Bang! Darn!
