  1. Hi,
    I´m having this problem:
I´v just encoded an avi file using MPEG 1 and then tryed with MPEG2 on virtualDubb.
During playback, the movie appears stripped, skewed and almost monochrome, running on WMP or Winamp.
People who need to see the movie, would probably use these players.
Do anyone know where the problem could be?
Is there any other common recommended codec ?

Apologizes in advance, i´m almost new with video.
    Thanks

VDub doesn't do MPEG2 and bone stock WMP doesn't either without the codec/plugin so scratch MPEG2 and go with MPEG1. You're going to have to post more info on your source file, settings and what you've tried/trying to do if you expect anybody to be able to really offer you much help.

FWIW, all the way up at the top to the left under the VCD heading you'll find the MPEG1 specifications you should be targeting.
