    Hi

I have a DVD rip that when played using WinDVD or PowerDVD runs a short advert and then quits!

The movie is there as I can view it if I play the individual .VOB files in WinDVD etc.

How do I fix the DVD set so it plays the movie?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

  3. Try copying only the VOB's that relate to the main film into a seperate directory. Then run IFOEdit and generate new IFO files. That should do the job !

  5. I have noticed that sometimes my burner may not always play back the movie I just burned... I have a DVD Rom for that occassion... and also some set top players.

Try another DVD Rom or set top player.

Also, media (bad media) can cause this.... try to scan the disk with Nero or DVDInfoPro to check for any errors.

I haven't burnt it to DVDR yet. The problem exist whn I try to play it from my PC with WinDVD. I'm not going to burn it until it works on my PC.
