  1. Hello all, I have an two mpeg files which work terifically , however the first mpeg file has sound skew of about 1 sec.
Can anyone suggest a good program which could cure this problem for me, I have tried Womble Mpeg VCR, and VirtualDub however none of these have cured the fault!
    Thanks Chris

is the skew all the way through the file or does it occur suddenly in the middle?

  3. The skew is continuous throughout the file. The film is in two files and the first file has the skew problem the second is ok. I havent appended the two mpeg files yet they are still seperate!
    Thanks Chris

    Hello,
I've had problems like this making divx music video clips. I got around it by getting a wav file from the bad mpg file and clipping it. Just use an audio cutter like Cakewalk Pyro and shave a second off (beggining or end, wherever your stutter is). Remix the mpg with the good audio and walla, no more sync issue. I know it's a pain to remix but it gets good results. Good luck.

  5. If i cut a sec off the audio wont the final video be loosing sound at some point either the beggining or the end?
I used womble cvr to get the wav file from the video and then adjusted it so that it was perfect. But when i came to burning the file to disc the lip sync was again out of skew!
I tried Virtual dub but that never recognised the file as having a problem.
The file i am having problems with is the Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind, if I dont get any more suggestions ill have a go at cutting the audio!!
    Thanks for the advice
