guys i have a panasonic e-100 dvd reco..not sure of the exact name but it has an 80gig harddisk in it..
just wanted to know the best set up for recording stuff of sky dig..
at the mo, im doing things very simply..
see a program i like, press 'direct tv record' (or something like that) and hence the machine records whatevers on my TV..on to the HD
im recording in XP Mode..
following this, i write to a dvd-ram disc in XP mode..
If the dvd recorder what connected directly to my sky box, would i be recording better qualtity footage?
cause at the moment, the footage im recording on DVD-RAM which i later take to my pc and convert to DVD-PAL format..isnt exactly, what i'd call 1000 pounds well spent
thanks
nick
