Suggestion for yellow card proceedure

Would it be possible to add the date the yellow card was issued?
That way us poor sinners could determine when the thirty day period was over, and hopefully have the mark of Cain removed at the appropriate time

I was just thinking maybe you make what is regarded a violation of the AUP and later you are carded, not neccessarily the same day.

i was under the impression there was no actual "30 day period" you just had to PM a mod and ask nicely - if they think it's ok to remove then they remove. no?

Clearly I'm a stupid ******* idiot, but I can't see any mention of the fact that you can request the card be removed under a 30 day period

Baldrick couldn't implement an automatic removal after thirty days, therefore this infers (to me, anyway) you can request it removed after thirty days which, to me, seems a reasonable amount of time.
What's the point of issuing them if you can have them removed immediately?
Let's not forget flanny, it was you who claimed there was 'no appeals proceedure, remember?

Honestly, from what I could make of things, yes there is some very confusing 'wording' as to the warning/bans, ie :

As per the Forum rules / Acceptable Use Policy(AUP) re-registering under a different username after receiving a formal ban will not be tolerated. A ban maybe lifted however if the banned user emails either a moderator or administrator.

These warning 'cards' are only viewable by the individual user, moderators and administrators, not other general users. The issueing of these 'cards' are at the moderator/administrator's discretion. A moderator/administrator may also remove a yellow or red card at their discretion.

Ok, very clear as there is no mention as to a warned user emailing a request for yellow to be removed, only mention of a banned user.


HOWEVER, someone did their home work with the following, futher on down that thread or in the AUP :

All disputes that arise from conflicts or vagueness in the AUP are to be decided soley by the webmasters or their moderators.

So even though there is some confusion, that last lil sentence should, reality check here, clarify it all very easily. Although, from what I have seen the mods seem to use pretty good judgement in their decision issue'n and removing.

Hell I gots me a lil yellow as well, but it just helps us learn from our mistakes.

Nope, I didn't ask for it removed nor was that the intention, I just wanted to know when it could be requested to be removed.
I still think this 30 day period is in operation and no bad thing.
It's at mod descretion and offline used his discrection, which I'm grateful for.
