PX.dll with TMPGEnc DVD Author

Dear All,

I am trying to start the burning program of TMPGEnc DVD Author but I am receiving the following error message: THE APLICATION FAILED TO START BECAUSE px.DLL WAS NOT FOUND. I have Windows XP, Nero 6 and DVD-RW Sony 500UL. I tried to find this file in my pc but it doesn^t exist. Can someone help where to find this file?

I'm pretty sure Tmpgenc DVD Author only works on Win XP. What operating system do you have? (It would be helpful if you would fill out your profile)

As I already wrote I have WinXP SP1. My question is where I can find this library PX.DLL.

I have Windows XP

Upgrade your TDA. The older version used the PX engine (Prassi, Primo, Record Now Max) to burn DVDs. It has now been changed to the gear ASPI.

I have downloaded the last trial version of TDA in previous week.

And you already did a reinstall of TDA right?

This happens sometimes when you perform a smart system restore with windows XP, or uninstall a program that uses the shared library, and choosing to delete it.

2 ways to fix. Install TMPG DVD Author, install any other app that uses the PX.dll shared library.
