Hi,
I just received a couple of cd in foreign lenguage, japanese, i was wondering if there is any software that can translate the jap audio to english or at least if it can add subtitles in english.

I am sure there is, but it would cost thousands....and would not be 100% effective...you would have to fill in the gaps...I am only referring to a voice to text translation, you would have to add the subtitles with a program called vobsub...setting the time code for each and every line of subtitle that you wanted to appear...nothing cheap or automatic exists right now, but if you waited ten years, no problem....

If the DVD is a major movie, you may find the subtitles at subtitle site.
