Canopus express outputs last few seconds only.

After a few killer encodes using canopus express I'm running into a repeat problem. AVI in - SVCD out. All I get after encode is the last few seconds (352KB). I did a test run of about 1 min. and that was fine. Started over, waited,ended up with the same tiny clip. What's up ?
Before this I was blown away with the results. It auto splits with no audio sync problems.

TMPGEncXPress encodes this with no problem. I would like to know why
Canopus is shorting me. Their forum is lame. search came up with nothing.

I went to the unregistered forum. I have since registered and will try looking again. I will repeat that I am very impressed with the quality I get with Canopus, and would prefer to use it for everything.

After posting on the canopus registered users forum. The "official" word is that there is an issue with the software that will be fixed in the next update.
