  1. Hi,
I just bought this software and LOVE it! I was able to capture my VHS video to my computer, edit it but now can't seem to burn it back to a CD or VHS tape. The software makes it easy and I should just have to click a button but in both cases there is no media on the CD or VHS. I have tried to reach tech support but can't get thru. I was hoping someone could help.
I have a video card with the software but I may also need a sound card.
I have an old VHS that only has the white and yellow outlets...I only used the yellow to connect and capture video because I didnt' want the sound anyway. Now I want to add the sound back to the tape. Anyway..is there any suggestions?

You can't burn with it and you love it? Wait till you try using it for DVDs.

I (and probably several thouand other people) loved Studio when we just bought it. Then we started (as you have) to discover just how many problems you can have with it and how little help you can expect from tech support even if you do get through.

You might get some help from people that still use it, but my advice is to get a refund if you can and use different software.

  4. In any event, I think you'll have to explain what you mean when you say, "there is no media on the CD or VHS".

For recording on a VHS recorder you need a video out on your capture card and a line out on your sound card. Your capture card my only have a video 'in' jack.

To make a CD you need a CD burner not just a player in your computer, if you have a CD burner then it may be that Studio 9 is not recognizing it.

If you give us somemore info we will try to help more.
