Hey, all. A friend of mine wants to get into backingup DVDs, but his PC is not the newest around. He has a Pentium 2, 128MB RAM, and 80 gigs of space. Is it possible for him to do backups on that machine? He doesn't care how long it takes. Thanx for any info.

I believe your friend should have no trouble backing up DVDs. My own computer is a Pentium 3, 128MB memory, and only 20GB of hard drive space, and I have been backing up my DVDs, with no problem at all.

I will tell hime to go with Shrink. There is no way he could use CCE, right? I know he has a copy of that, but every time he tries to install it he gets an error message saying something to the effect "No 3D! install". I am not sure if it has to do with Windowses 98 or something like that, because I just gave him a Maxtor external hard drive and he cant use it because it is for Windows 98 SE or higher.
Thanks agian. -
The error he get when trying to istall CCE Trial is ""This only runs on computer with SSP or Enhanced 3D Now! setup has been canceled"
