I have been using TMPGEnc 2.5 and have a friend whom recently got the new TMPGEnc xpress. I did a short animation conversion on this new prog (on his system). Is seemed to come out all jittery (footage shaking). The original file was an AVI and was converting to MPG 2. I have never had this problem with version 2.5.
Does anyone know how to avoid this jitter so my friend can convert some of his animation to MPG so he can develop his portfolio (animation).
Additionally when I convert from AVI to MPG I seem to loss a fair bit of quality. I think I once saw a guide for animation encoding but cant seem to find it anywhere now.
Is there a guide? and if so where was it?
Or if anyone has some pointers in relation to animation conversion it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
