I need media (+R/+RW) for a set top DVD recorder that I have just purchased (only real time recording, replacing my VCR, hence 1x is probably fine). The cost of media in New Zealand is *hideous* and I gaze with envy at those of you paying a $US1-1.50 per disc.
The best prices I have been able to find at retailers here are around $NZ 6 (=$US 3.70) for +R and $NZ8 (=$US 5) for +RW. Some of the retailers even have $NZ 15 (per disc!) as their cheapest price. Also, Fedex from the States can add quite a bit.
Do any Kiwi readers have a good local supplier. Failing that, any recommendations for a reliable offshore supplier with acceptable shipping charges - am not too fussed if it takes a week or two to arrive.
Any pointers?

Take a look at the following sites
www.qmb.co.nz
www.edencomputers.co.nz
www.picosys.co.nz
I use QMB and Eden for Princo DVD-R media mostly. For +RW i'm using Arita from QMB. Don't tend to use DVD+R as I really like the Princo media.
