    I converted a xvid to svcd, and everything seemed fine, but about 10 minutes into the movie my sound went out. I used virtualdub to convert the sound to a wav. Anybody have any idea why this migh have happend?

    Load the wave file you made into Gold Wave, and look ten minutes into the audiograph.
