I don't know. Seems to me it would be handy to be able to export a specific ten-second clip of a given project as its own video file, for DVD menus and whatnot. But while I found a very well-hidden reference to this ability in the Premiere Pro help, I still haven't pinned down how one does it.
I set my in point, I set my out point. I try to export the range between those two points. I don't get anywhere, because said function is not very conspicuous. I'm sure it's there, though. Anyone know where I should be looking? Thanks.
While I'm at it, anyone have advice on the best plugin to use for slowing video footage down? (Rendering new frames, I mean. Something real.)

Just above the video clip, there's a work area. IF you Alt/left click, you'll see two L shaped brackets at either side of your viewable area. Bring them in tighter to the export required..
Finally, when you export the video, there's a tab that lets you either A) export entire project, or B) Export work area only.. Choose B.
To slow the footage down, simply right click, and choose a percentage for speed..You also have the option to reverse...
Good luck!!
