  1. alright my problem is quite odd.

i aquired battle royale with subtitles in an idx file.

and i run it in divx player its perfect picture quality and everyting, but divx player doesnt support subtites,
so i load it in media player classic, it loads the subtitles, btu the picture is all green blocks and distortuion everywhere.

so i converted the battle royale divx file to mpeg2 with tmpgenc, and im wondering if i can add the subtitle track to the movie itself or if i have to or can burn it to a dvd video witht he sub titles loaded.

    thanks.

  2. yes you can, not sure if you can extract subtitle from the source file but there is deffinetly ways to add subtiltes to an m2v file. There are some guides telling you how to convert divx to mpeg2 and add subtitles using srt2sup, rejig or ifoedit, subtitle workshop and tmpgenc. and thjere are several sites where you can the subtitles.

the movies i have come with .sub and .idx as subtitles.
When i use tmpec or waever, it says the file is unsupported. when i wanna convert it to .srt, it says its unsupported.

wa do i add the .sub to the movie?
