  1. I tried using ULead Video Studio and MGI Video Wave, for capturing Video from my DV Camcorder usind IEEE 1394 interface, but it gets captured as a AVI file. Then it takes too much of time for me to encode from AVI to MPEG.

    Is there any way to capture the DV directly into MPEG??? Pls someone help me.

  2. In MGI Video Wave you can directly produce the captured video in Mpeg format(click the produc button & select the options). You can even produce VCD-complaint Mpeg. But the quality is not good at all.
