    Vegas Version 4 and 5, when I'm trying to open a video clip and the building peaks never works. It either freezes or cannot find any peaks. How can I get the audio(peaks) works?
    Please help this poor man.

    I think... It is Bit rate 117KBPS... Audio Format MPEG Layer-3
    Please help this poor man.

    Vegas do not surport mp3. Unless you buy a mp3 license for it from
    SONY

    vegas supports mp3 just fine for import and for mp3 export - the lic is free (you get 20 free trials) , you just have to reg with sony ... no big deal .....



    but


    in your case you have a vbr mp3 i strongly suspect , which vegas and other apps have problems with .. you have to convert to a wave file (best) or cbr mp3
