Let's say this situation came up:

I made a VCD out of a video file. I burned it and the necessary autoplay.inf and vcd.asx files with Nero in the VideoCD format.

Everything burned fine. The disc plays on a DVD player that will read VideoCDs.

But, due to one missing character in the <title> </title> portion of the vcd.asx file, the same disc will not play on a computer in Media Player.

I've already deleted the source file for the video.

Is there any way to go and copy the necessary files on the burned disc, but somehow substitute a corrected version of the vcd.asx file so the new disc will play on a computer?

    Thanks in advance,

You mean with all these experts on here that nobody even has a slight opinion on how to fix this?

  3. I make my VCDs with VCDEasy and have no problems in playback in player or computer.
