Over the past year I have been using the MPEG Encoder as a way or turning an mpeg into an mpeg2 so I can turn it into a DVD, I have just started to notice that sometimes the sound goes out of sync half way through the film and then gets better as it reaches the end of the film.

I have tried TMPGEnc Plus and TMPGEnc Xpress but since they are both made by the same company they haven't really ironed out there problems with frames freezing, well it does on me.

I would really like to keep the MPEG Encoder to make the mpeg2 but does anyone know of a way to sort out the out of sync sound, possibily by ripping the sound and using that instead of the film it'self as the audio source.

I have looked at many guides and using this one works 95% of the time, I can nearly always enocde the film but I do sometimes run into sound problems
Why are the best things things in life cost the most money?

Who stole the rest of my Signature, Own up, it was you, yeah you, thats it I am gonna come over there and ..........

  2. There are many methods for extracting the Audio and using it instead of the one in the movie itself, it's actually the recommanded thing to do, usually in a sync issue, the audio that comes in the movie is MP3 VBR and the best way to deal with it is here: http://sefy.iwarp.com/guides/wavextract3.html
