  1. Hi,
    think this is probably a simple dvdr standalone incompatibility problem, but want to see if any suggestions might make what i have work.
    vinc. bravo D2 standalone; teon dvd-r; pioneer 106d with 1.07 firmware.

    I ripped Peter Pan and Big Fish with decrypter (files). my kids want the extras so first tried intervideo dvdcopy to 2 disks for Peter Pan. It plays in windvd and on my old pioneer dv333 and my kids cheapo daewood. The bravo d2 give 'no cd' message. I than tried using dvdshrink with no compression and took just the movie of big fish straight to dvd-r (using nero 6). Same results.

    Don't know if there's some setting on the Bravo or just trial and error with media, or some other software setting.

    it could be the media. teon isnt that great of a product.

    just to make sure, but you do know that you need to compress the video to about 4.3gb for it to fit onto a dvdr. the way you said that makes me think that you are just running the video through shrink without compressing it.
