I just bought the LG GSA-4082B.
I tried it out with a store bought DVD, and it won't play.
Out of the 3 DVDs I tried, 2 would play but 1 won't.
Do I need to update the firmware?
The DVD that won't play is very new. No scratches.

Hi,
try and update the firmware
follow the link below:
http://www.lgelectronics.co.uk/
then click on device driver and then select CD-RW, scroll down and you should find the appropriate firmware!
its a strange problem; i've never experienced such a problem with my unit!
best of luck, adamFor Queen and Country!!!
