  1. Is it possible to check the bitrate of a video file? Because when I use NeroVision Express, there are some options for the bitrate.

  3. try virtualdubmod (tools page)...if it's an avi or mpeg (1 or 2) just load it in then choose file>file information, tells you video and audio bitrate

    If you've got an mpeg1 or mpeg2 source then BitrateViewer works well. It gives you tons of other valuable information too, especially if you use the commercial version.
