    Hello,

I want to make a DVD from 2 Divx files.
I'm using the 0.0.9i version of ffmpegX with Sizzle 0.5b2 on MacOSX 10.3.4
I've converted the first divx with DVD preset. When i import the .AC3 file, Sizzle tell me that the audio file is not 48KHz (that's wrong) and may cause audio sync problem.
I've converted the second divx with Fast DVD preset. Sizzle tell me also that the audio file is not 48KHz and audio sync problem.
Next i launch the Save Disc Image in Sizzle, and mount my image.
When i try the DVD in Apple DVD Player, i've no audio sync problem with the first movie (DVD preset) but i've audio sync problem (0.5 sec at the EOF) with the second movie (Fast DVD).

Is it a Sizzle or ffmpegx problem?

    Thanks,
    Toche

  2. I got that error on Sizzle with some AC3 files directly extracted from a VOB without any encoding. Also DVD and fast DVD both encode AC3 in the same way. I didn't experience any sync problems though. I'll test some more to see if I can repeat the issue.

Ok, if you can try from a DivX movie to a mpeg with FastDVD then imported into Sizzle 0.5, i'll be curious...
By the way, my audio track in my Divx is at 128kb MP3 stereo. So in FastDVD preset i've changed the .AC3 5.1 448 in .AC3 Stereo 128.

  4. Have you imported in Sizzle the mpg file directly, or the m2v and ac3 streams?

  5. Hello Toche,

I recently upgraded from ffmpegX 0.0.9i to 0.0.9j, but now I got problems with my .dv to ffpeg .divx worklow, I'm getting a black bar at the bottom of the film, something I didn't get before, but I didn't keep a copy of ffmpegX 0.0.9i, so now I'm screwed; since you told in your posting that you have a copy of ffmpegX 0.0.9i, could you please be so kind to send it arnaut1@gmx.de

    Thank you very much,
    Arnaut

Not the mpg file but the .m2v file for the movie and .AC3 file for the audio.

    Thanks for your help!

  7. Try to import directly the mpg file (select "new title" then open the mpg file). Does it change anything?
