  1. ok the problem is this i use tmp and sometimes the frame rate is 60fps well the closest is 29 and once encoded there is a lot of skipping, well what can you expect going from 60 to 29 all i want to know is there a way of creating a vcd and keeping 60frames ive tried panasonic, xing, lsxmpeg encoder but they all stick to the usual frames 23,25,29.
can anyone please help with this.
also my computer is a 1.4gig just in case someone blames it on the computer been too slow

  2. VCD spec doesn't allow 60fps, seems like you got some weird stuff going on to get a framerate that high, probably in the de-interlace stage. What's your exact method to get your temp file.

  3. Actaully that's not 60 frames per sec, that's 60 fields per sec; ie. 30frames per sec. Each NTSC TV frame is made of 2 fields.

So if you have a 60field/s source that's the same as a 30frame/s source.

  5. Sorry, just the output of some deinterlace filters (such as in avisynth) creates 50fps from a 25fps source, thought that may be his problem
