ok the problem is this i use tmp and sometimes the frame rate is 60fps well the closest is 29 and once encoded there is a lot of skipping, well what can you expect going from 60 to 29 all i want to know is there a way of creating a vcd and keeping 60frames ive tried panasonic, xing, lsxmpeg encoder but they all stick to the usual frames 23,25,29.
can anyone please help with this.

VCD spec doesn't allow 60fps, seems like you got some weird stuff going on to get a framerate that high, probably in the de-interlace stage. What's your exact method to get your temp file.

Actaully that's not 60 frames per sec, that's 60 fields per sec; ie. 30frames per sec. Each NTSC TV frame is made of 2 fields.
So if you have a 60field/s source that's the same as a 30frame/s source. -
yea exactly, if the file was 60fps, you couldnt even play it in ANY video player on cpu

Sorry, just the output of some deinterlace filters (such as in avisynth) creates 50fps from a 25fps source, thought that may be his problem
