    ok whats better atapi-2 or atapi-3




    mine says atapi-2, i see more then often people have -3 whats the differnce

    atapi-3 gives you faster data transfer between your system and your drive. But if your drive only supports atapi-2 then thats all it should need. Its more important when it comes to your Hard Discs.

    well i thought that there wasnt really a differnce when i was reading something just that with atapi 3 u can use the S M A R T features if ur drive has them, oh well mine works fine
