I have this dvd i want to backup, but i can't.
It plays ok in the standalone dvd and in the dvd drive in my PC.
I can see via pathfinder in the folder video_ts, there are 5 vob files named

    VTS_01_1.VOB
    VTS_01_2.VOB
    VTS_01_3.VOB
    VTS_01_4.VOB
    VTS_01_5.VOB

i can copy 01_1, 01_2 and 01_3 to another drive, but the last two i get an read error.

I use normaly a program called DISCo Commander 5.2 instead af patchfinder, but this program can see the disc, but it cannot go into the folder video_ts.

Can anyone tell me how to backup the disc.

Why do i get an read error when the disc is playing ok in the standalone dvd and in the dvd drive in my PC.

I have included a jpg that shows the media info.

Most likely if thisis a DVD-9 disk(commercial) then you have a scratch or something on it. It might be a very small scratch. Your player will still play it, it just skips over the bad data and you might or might not see the glitch when watching the video. Try DVDDecrypter, I've had good luck with it with scratched disks.

I have been able to rescue some (not all) scratched DVD's using IsoBuster . It works great for ripping discs with read errors.
There's also a program called DVDXRescue, but it never worked for me. You can try your luck with it.

What's wrong with a good polish, I use a 'Bib' dvd/cd restorer polish and a lint free cloth (which comes with it) for removing light scratches.

Also reading it in using your writer can help in stubborn cases.

    It is not a dvd9, it a dvd5.

There is no scratch on it.

I try to make a copy of it with alcohol 120% and that's works fine, but it is a movie with no chapters and i want to make some chapters, that is why i need to use the vob files but can't read the last two of them.

I don't know, maybe you can see that looking a the jpg picture.

If you are right, does this recorder makes some kind of error on the disc so you can read the last two vob files, how can this be solved.
