  1. The thriller is this:

I have a secondary HD with a secondary OS used only for editing, I do that for more stability and no conflicts, the software I used for capture is Adobe premiere 6.5 and now the PRO version.

I had try 3 camcorder in my system: 1 Sony TRV19(mine) and 2 Sony TRV30 from my friends, the incredible thing is that with my trv19 and one of the trv30 I had dropped frame(a lot), audio clipping during playback during the capture, and no export, absolutely no export , with this two Camcorders the export is not possible because (they have DV-in of course) the image doesn't appear in the LCD and this one when I try to export start to shaking(not fisically but the screen). With the other trv30 all works, it's incredible, I can't understand... with this camcorder no drop frames and good export and I captured about 10 gb of video with this cam, so the trv19 had changed the motherboard in warranty after one year, I say to the sony technician that the Cam after the sustitution doesn't export but told me that with the new motherboard everything work good, the trv30 that doesn't work with my system is new(about 2 month) and the Trv30 that work my system is new too, last thing is that when I bought my Cam(trv19) I tried immediately to capture-edit-export and all worked very good and I used two software Adobe and Avid Xpress Dv 3.5(now avid refuse to capture for the drop frame) so it's incredible that after 5-6 months nothing work. What do you think about it?

Sorry for my english, I'm from Italy.
    thanks a lot

    Gutzs

the fact they drop frames is inexcuable. i have never dropped a frame recording DV. try using DVapp or DVIO to capture your DV then load into premiere to edit.

DV capture is not like analog capture, so it belongs in the DV forum - not the analog capture forum, okay?
