after creating a dvd on my jvc m1,i try to rip the dvd on my computer,with no sucess.ive tried various programmes,dvd decrypter,nero ect.the problem is when ripping the dvd,whatever programme im using the dvd stops reading at about 80% error message,cannot read dvd.
ive tried dvd-r,dvd-rw,vr mode,video mode,no joy with any of them.
has anyone out there had the same problem.

Probably bad disk. I have no problems to rip DVDs made on my JVC DR-M10S. Try another disk. I may be wrong too.

cheers,never thought of that,im using ritek printables 4x,any advice on what media i should be looking for?

I only use -RW (Memorex) and some RAM (Panasonic) disks with M10. Everything else on my PC is +RW/+R.
